On our return from skiing there was cake with separate DF and GF for those with special requirements, whilst the dinner every night was exceptional and somehow met everyone's different requirements. After two weeks of Lisa's cooking my trousers appear tighter than they were before the holiday but someone told me it is possible to have less than three slices of her Victoria sponge cake. “We engaged Lisa to cook for us during our recent two week stay in Chamonix-Mont Blanc. Her menu was modern and innovative without being pretentious and outlandish. Lisa was extremely accommodating with our dietary needs and as the weeks went on adapted the meals to suit our tastes. The food itself was delicious. I started the holiday determined not to indulge in dessert, but as one mouthwatering pudding after another was served up with rapturous sighs as they were consumed, I had to give in. The ginger creme brûlée was simply the best I have ever tasted. On Lisa’s nights off, we went to Munchies and Cap Horn in Chamonix. Both restaurants are among the best in the town, but we had all been spoiled by her cooking and the experience in both restaurants was not as satisfying as it had been on previous visits. Lisa was welcoming, kind and down to earth as well - all qualities that are invaluable for someone who spends so much time in the home you are renting. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She should really open a restaurant, although if she does, that would mean we wouldn’t be able to hire her again and that would be so disappointing.”
